Setting the Mood at Your Wedding Reception

The beginning of the evening is a very important part of the reception.
Your guests are mingling and eagerly await your grand entrance. Your Celebration DJ will be sure that the music is pleasant and played at a comfortable level that allows for easy conversation.

Your DJ will have already made contact with the banquet facility manager to coordinate dinner seating time, the cake cutting, and any special announcements that the facility may require. He will have introduced himself to your photographer and videographer to make sure they are aware of the order of events and are prepared to capture your grand entrance. And all this is done before you even arrive!

Your Celebration DJ is there to be a coordinator, an emcee, and a party specialist so the little things are taken care of and everything runs smoothly. This type of service is what sets Celebration DJs apart from the typical DJ that feels he is just there to play some music. Grand entrance:

When you arrive, your DJ will greet you outside or in the foyer and introduce himself to your
bridal party. He is used to working with wedding parties of all sizes so he is able to get everyone paired up as couples and lined up for the entrance. Your bridal party will be introduced with energy and fun as they enter one couple at a time. You will then be introduced into the hall in grand style and your guests will stand to welcome you as you enter into your reception to the music you have chosen.

Toast and Blessing :

Before dinner begins your Celebration DJ will have coordinated the dinner service
time with your banquet facility. He will have made sure the champagne glasses are
filled at the head table and the best man is ready for his toast. He will have everyone
seated on time so that dinner is not delayed waiting for the guests and the bridal
party to gather together and be seated. Those you have chosen to give toasts and
to offer a blessing will be professionally introduced and handed a high quality
wireless microphone to use so all can hear them clearly.

Dinner Music:

The dinner music is a great time to set a mood for the evening. Celebration DJs don't just
slip in an elevator jazz CD and disappear. Your DJ will stay at the controls to ensure a comfortable volume level and select a great mix that will appeal to all age groups and encourage conversation and fellowship during the meal. The dinner music is normally a
great mix of "Rat Pack" classics and newer selections and your requests can be mixed
into the play list.
